Has anyone had any luck with the one offered by Rock Auto? Are there better options I'm not finding? I have yet to OHM mine out but with the motor unplugged and the damage I'd say there's a good chance it's bad. I mentioned this to Thomas, who seemed to think the WB install couldn't have caused the issue. IC105 controls Aug 20, 2011 · OP, if your car has boost leaks, misadjusted TPS, misadjusted ISC, misadjusted base ignition timing, dead o2, over heating, forget it dude. The newer (black) ISCs should measure about 40 ohms across those same pin combinations. IC105 controls. The ECU seemed fine up until recently, when I installed the WB. The Fast Idle Air Valve does this as a very coarse adjustment based on temperature. Plus I've got no AC and PS is soon to go. The OEM replacement seems to be big money. Now the only idle controls will be the BISS and ECU. May 11, 2008 · You want the ISC in the middle of it's range, while adjusting the BISS for optimal setting (Our idle should be 800 RPMs). That small increase in coil resistance knocked out part of the ISC control circuit. Make sure all this stuff is functioning and dialed in correct before even bothering to tune the car. I"ll set the idle for warmed up and just crack the throttle a bit to get it warmed up when it's cold. Dec 24, 2012 · My ISC was only reading 47ohms on one coil, other three were in spec at 30ohms. According to ECM Tuning, the drivers do the following functions: IC104 controls ECU pin 14 ('90) or 6 ('91+), MAF Reset signal. May 20, 2016 · Seems the ISC driver kursploded from a short, which explains why it was unplugged. But what exactly is the middle of it's range? If you log it, I think it goes anywhere from 0-100+. The other half of the chip is unused on US DSMs. That was a relief. Much simpler for my purposes.
